Meet SPCA Tampa Bay
For more than 80 years, SPCA Tampa Bay has worked to bring joy to both people and pets. SPCA Tampa Bay is so much more than just an adoption agency for cats and dogs.
SPCA Tampa Bay is the only non-profit, animal welfare agency that runs an open-admission "For-All" animal shelter and veterinary center in Pinellas County.
The Veterinary Center opened in St. Petersburg in 2016. This state-of-the-art facility houses a professional staff and a complete general practice to keep your dogs and cats healthy and active.
"Through passionate collaboration with our community, we transform the lives of animals.."
SPCA Tampa Bay is a nonprofit, locally governed by a volunteer board of directors. Like most U.S. animal shelters, they rely entirely on program revenue and fundraising to sustain operations, provide care for animals and serve the community.
The team at SPCA is comprised of 100 staff members and 250 dedicated volunteers to help fulfill their mission. The adoptions team and volunteers work to match families with animals that are a good fit with a family’s home, lifestyle and personalities. Every animal receives compassionate care, regardless of its breed or size.
Join the hundreds of animal lovers who come out to Pet Walk and raise money for the animals at SPCA Tampa Bay!
New this year, Pet Walk is happening at two locations!
North Straub Park in St. Petersburg and OCC Road House and Museum in Clearwater.
