About Happy Ticketing
Happy Ticketing was founded by Colin, a long-time St. Petersburg resident and entrepreneur. With a background in software development and extensive experience in the ticketing industry, Colin identified a gap in the market: the need for a more affordable, streamlined ticketing service. Frustrated with high ticketing fees and complex systems, he decided to launch Happy Ticketing—a platform designed to simplify the event ticketing process for both organizers and buyers.
From Entrepreneurial Spirit to Business Launch
Colin's journey began with his early passion for entrepreneurship, which led him to learn coding to bring his business ideas to life. He started a software development shop aimed at supporting startups, and later served as Chief Technical Officer at a sports software company. His combined experience in software and ticketing inspired the creation of Happy Ticketing, offering a better, more cost-effective solution in the event industry.
Why St. Petersburg?
Colin's connection to St. Pete started when he was recruited to play soccer at Eckerd College. Drawn by the warm climate and vibrant community, he returned to the city permanently over a decade ago. Witnessing the city's growth and dynamic event scene, Colin recognized St. Pete as the ideal home for his business. Happy Ticketing is now proud to support local events and contribute to the community's thriving culture.
